friesman Posted October 30, 2010 #3 Posted October 30, 2010 We got the tail end of that big storm and we had some drifts 3feet high in places as the wind was close to 80 mph. Its way too early for snow here (usually) and it looks like its all going to melt, but here is a pic I took this morning off my patio. Brian
Venturous Randy Posted October 30, 2010 #4 Posted October 30, 2010 From 11am until dark, I was outside in shorts today and tomorrow is supposed to be beautiful also. I feel blessed I was born here and call this part of the country home. RandyA

Brian:snow2: The roads, parking lots are clear here & it has warmed up to 6*C today. So I may take the scoot out for dinner tonight. Seeing the other day, I wiped most of the snow off the scoot & today the rest should have melted.
mrc Posted October 30, 2010 #8 Posted October 30, 2010 Barrie is still snow free but only barely. I spent the day winterizing the two bikes, lawnmower and other gas equipment. Can only hope it’s a short winter.
BEER30 Posted October 31, 2010 #9 Posted October 31, 2010 Charlie, is it snowing, is it really snowing, really? No snow here and I went fishing and a ride today. Caught Speckled Trout, Flounder, and Sea Bass. Afterwards I took a ride on the scoot and along the way, stopped in at a local Volunteer Fire Dept. that was having BBQ! Yum-Yum............... Enjoy your SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:snow2::stickpoke: BEER30

Beau-Kat Posted October 31, 2010 #15 Posted October 31, 2010 3 inches of :snow2: has fallen Does snow kill mo-skeeters? If so, then send us a blizzard to the Carolinas. Until then, I guess I'll just hafta ride faster to outrun 'em.
Redneck Posted October 31, 2010 #16 Posted October 31, 2010 Sorry Charlie. I rode the harley about 300 miles today it was in the lower 80s no wind clear sky's it was a great day.

Venturous Randy Posted November 1, 2010 #18 Posted November 1, 2010 youre not helping my pain, Randy:no-no-no: I dont bug you when its a nice 75 or 85 here while youre in 100 degree humdity....lol! Brian:snow2: Actually, here in the mountains of east Tennesee, our weather is more moderate. We have cooler summers and warmer winters than most of the country north of us and a lot cooler summers than the country south of us. Even in the middle of the summer, an hours ride may get me in the lower 70's or even upper 60's, but we are at elevations over 6,000 feet. It is a beautiful place to live if you like riding in the mountains. RandyA
Roadhand Posted November 1, 2010 #19 Posted November 1, 2010 Come on down this way. Mid 80s here yesterday and lot's of sunshine.

ragtop69gs Posted November 1, 2010 #23 Posted November 1, 2010 Here ya go snow-boys ! Motorcycle conversion for snow BEER30 Now that looks like it would be all kinds of fun. I have rode the old Chrysler Sno-Scoots, they are fun, but nowhere near the power a modern enduro puts out.
friesman Posted November 1, 2010 #24 Posted November 1, 2010 (edited) I like the cold and snow........it makes it easier to justify those long trips and cruises to the south, where you get pampered and waited on, drink and eat to excess. Brian Edited November 2, 2010 by friesman
