Guest Ken8143 Posted October 29, 2010 #1 Posted October 29, 2010 A lot of you people have real neat screen names. Me, I am not creative at all - maybe my life is too boring to get called a handy nick name. Wondering how you came up with your screen name. Now there is a 2-year old boy that is calling me Mr. Krabs from the Spongebob Square Pants cartoon - I don't know who Mr. Krabs is or why he picked that out for me - maybe because I had a red shirt on and Mr. Krabs maybe has red claws? What is the consensus - should I change my screen name to Mr. Krabs? or is he a rotten character?
ThomWill Posted October 29, 2010 #2 Posted October 29, 2010 1. Very creative my own self: Thom Williams -> ThomWill 2. FWIW, not a fan of the Mr. Krab name.
Owen Posted October 29, 2010 #3 Posted October 29, 2010 I never noticed the 'screen name' thing. I just thought everyone was using their real names...
Freebird Posted October 29, 2010 #4 Posted October 29, 2010 LOL...yea...my mom and dad named me Freebird. Actually, I got mine because I lost a bet.
ThomWill Posted October 29, 2010 #5 Posted October 29, 2010 LOL...yea...my mom and dad named me Freebird. You a Zappa kid?
eazyduzzit Posted October 29, 2010 #6 Posted October 29, 2010 You think you're not creative, I have a 14 year old cat named "Kitty".

Guest Ken8143 Posted October 29, 2010 #11 Posted October 29, 2010 My brother has a neat tag - Hudahek. People say: What does that mean? He says Hu da Hek knows
Dano Posted October 29, 2010 #12 Posted October 29, 2010 Mines been with me since high school, when you have a couple of Dans in the same classes and stuff, it just evolved naturally especially when your last name starts with O.......
Guest Ken8143 Posted October 29, 2010 #13 Posted October 29, 2010 LOL...yea...my mom and dad named me Freebird. Actually, I got mine because I lost a bet. What was the bet? Inquiring minds want to know!
GaStar Posted October 29, 2010 #14 Posted October 29, 2010 I have been on Jeep Forums for quite a time. I wheel a Grand Wagoneer. Henc my screen name there was GaWag. Ga = Georgia where I'm from Wag = Wagoneer what I wheel I got equally creative here. GaStar Ga = again where I'm at Star = Royal Star or Star motorcycles. I would not want to be Mr Krabs. He is stingy and money hungry. I have 9 yr old twin girls. Very familiar Sponge Bob.
SilvrT Posted October 29, 2010 #15 Posted October 29, 2010 I don't think "Mr Krabs" i such a good handle... kinda infers certain things to certain minded folk.... me... SilvrT = Silver Tongue Devil .... and I ain't sharing how or by whom or for what reason that got bestowed on me
Freebird Posted October 29, 2010 #16 Posted October 29, 2010 (edited) What was the bet? Inquiring minds want to know! I honestly don't remember. I think the bet was with Black Owl but I don't remember now what it was. Edited October 29, 2010 by Freebird

hipshot Posted October 29, 2010 #23 Posted October 29, 2010 mine goes WAY back to the mid '70's. back then EVERYBODY had to have a C. B. radio, and a "handle". all the cool ones were taken, so i settled for a (then) popular comic strip character, from Stan Lynde's "Rick O' Shay" comic strip. Rick was a town marshal, and "Hipshot Percussion", was a gunslinger/bum, sidekick. i am probably the only human alive, who remembers that! Been using it for a LOT of years lol just jt:backinmyday:
BradT Posted October 29, 2010 #25 Posted October 29, 2010 Hey - how about this: Brodo Geez? Geez is easier, shorter too. Just put your old name in your Signature so we can remember who you are. Brad
