ranger391 Posted October 21, 2010 #1 Posted October 21, 2010 Thumbs up to the RSV!! I got my "new to me" 99 RSV this summer so this cold weather riding season with it. Had a meeting in Minneapolis this morning so I headed out from my place here in Northern Wisconsin at 5:00am. Temp was 35 degrees. 120 miles to the cities and not cold at all. I wore my Cabela's Dry Plus rain gear bibs from my boat. Not insulated, but windproof so my knees were fine. Probably close to the end of our season. Rain forecast for this weekend and then temps are supposed to drop next week even more... Scott.....
Godlover Posted October 21, 2010 #2 Posted October 21, 2010 Buy some chains for your RSV and just keep riding!!!

rwrenn1 Posted October 21, 2010 #4 Posted October 21, 2010 Buy some chains for your RSV and just keep riding!!! no such thing as riding season ending just time to put it away for a couple of days at a time like when theres ice or snow on the ground. with the right gear you can ride in anything
dynodon Posted October 21, 2010 #5 Posted October 21, 2010 Took a nice ride this morning at 8am. about 40 degrees. Leathered up, put on a couple extra layers, Toe Warmers, and turned on the heated grips. Had a great ride. I love riding in winter, just wait for the days when roads are clean/dry and don't have salt on them. Then go riding.
