Hummingbird Posted October 16, 2010 #1 Posted October 16, 2010 It looks really interesting and stable but they allude to tie downs and adapters ?? http://liftsandstands.com/
Squidley Posted October 16, 2010 #2 Posted October 16, 2010 Thom, down here in Texas, has something like it and it works out pretty well. Depending on the price it might be ok, Only issue is that you loose access to the side of the bike that the lift arm and support is on
Hummingbird Posted October 16, 2010 Author #3 Posted October 16, 2010 I wonder if it good on either side ?? I sure like the idea of not having to crawl around to put the adapter on but then this may need one as well ??

Condor Posted October 16, 2010 #5 Posted October 16, 2010 I like it, and if it'll handle the weight of a Wing it'll work with a Venture. I've never seen anything like this before, but it makes a lot of sense compared to a table lift. Smaller, lighter, storable. When I went to the UTube link I found a few others like it from powered, to drill powered, to manual. Some are questionable in the weight handling dept, but a couple are very stout looking.... Lately I've been thinking about a table. Now I think I'm gonna go shoppin'. Guest scarylarry Posted October 16, 2010 #6 Posted October 16, 2010 Videos can make anything look good, not saying it ain't.. It looks good but I really want to put hands on one and see it work, it looks like it would be easy to tip forward that is my biggest concern.. The carbon one is a great adapter, I still looking for a deal on a table jack, but I'm open to the idea but it will have to prove more than a video can do..
RandyR Posted October 16, 2010 #7 Posted October 16, 2010 from their web page: Moreover, you can stop the lift at whatever working height you want and the motorcycle will stay there without the use of any special devices. And there is never any need to use straps; the motorcycles are secure on the lift as is!
Hummingbird Posted October 16, 2010 Author #8 Posted October 16, 2010 ouch !! I just got a price on one - $415 delivered. That's not really bad, it's just that I have a craftsman lift and Larry's adapter that work. I guess I'm just getting lazy, want something a little easier
