I've had a few issues with Valero in the past, like short pouring a gallon. The only reason bad gas gets to the tank is they don't run it through a filter and water seperator. It could be that they're not maintaining them.... ???

 

I agree with Condor...on the stores equipment and tank maintenance. I doubt they have bad fuel, they get it from the same terminals as every one else (plus or minus additives). As someone else may have said, I don't buy gas when I see a fuel tanker dumping fuel. They're (tanker driver) is supposed to check the water level in the tank before unloading. I think it used to be around 3-4" of water when they had to pump it out. Most tanks probably have 1-2" of water in them at the bottom.

The one up at the corner just went out of business.... Filled both the '91 and '99 there. So far so good.....

I read the article in the above link - - it states the employees gave the money, not valero. valero only provided jobs. it was the working folks who pooled their money from their paycheck, not company profits, and gave to the charity.
