I thought this paragraph is well worth posting as most, if not all "non-bikers" really have no concept of this ....

 

"Riding a bike is not at all like driving a car; you must rest both your body and your mind far more often. The degree of concentration required to stay safe means maintaining an acute sense of the road, traffic, weather, temperature, mechanical changes and your own body. Throw on a passenger, and the calculations rise."

It is a article about a couple touring around on there Venture with there dog. ---

Greener (Bob Green) and I met this couple this summer at the Biker's Reunion in New Liskeard. They were a wonderful couple from Ontario who are retired and do an amazing amount of touring. She seems to enjoy the two up touring as much as he does.
