Will Kenwood Work

Does anyone know if the Kenwood KDC669 CD changer will work in the Venture? I think it uses the same 13 pin c-bus cable.

An update on the use of a Kenwood CD changer on the Venture. The local Car Toys (Kenwood dealer) says they won't interchange. Same 13 pin plug but different languages. Not surprisingly they no longer stock CD changers either. So an actual test did not occur.

Still beyond me why someone would want to use a CD changer on this bike.

 

You have an auxiliary input, by the cassette deck, into which you can plug a MP3 player. You can put way more than 6 CDs on an MP3 player and the MP3 player won't skip. The MP3 player takes up none of the bag or trunk space. Don't have to drill a hole in the side bag or trunk...

 

I'm just sayin'.

I would use a CD changer IF it would play MP3 Files.

 

I could burn six CDs with hundres if not thousands of songs each and be able to use the handlebar control unit to access the songs.

 

But it might skip on bumps..........
