VR 1300 Engine on Ebay

I looked at this earlier. For some reason. The oil filter cover is on WRONG. Possibly due to them Gumbys draining the oil B4 shipping. I see it can be shipped within 30 miles of me. Now I am thinking hard...and it hurts. ALSO , the gen cover says YICS. Which only the 1200s had. But the clutch cover says 1300. Also other cosmetic oddities. Like the rear cylinder dress plates have NO black or silver lines??

My 86 is definitely a 1300 but the covers also say YICS... just a stock draw down...

My 89 has exactly the same dress plates. They are hidden under the side fairings so I haven't addressed them as of yet.

 

Also, auction clearly states a local pick-up is offered if someone lives close.

 

I have seriously contemplated it but right now I am concentrating on the plastic and my motor only has 30K very easy miles on it so I think I have a while before it becomes a concern.

Yeah, the '86 1300 in my '84 also says YICS....
