murph35640 Posted October 4, 2010 #26 Posted October 4, 2010 I agree with you 100% about Jimmy underestimating the size of the group that he challenged. That was the first comment I made to him when I learned about his challenge. Personally I don't think it should matter where the money comes from since it is going to a worthy cause anyway. We all know that there is no way a group of 35 folks can even begin to compete with a group the size of Ventureriders without getting donations from non members. I would suggest that we don't have a lot of rules about where the $$ comes from as long as it is legal. If this little competition motivates people to get out and pick up donations from businesses or other groups it is all the better for the cause! Just my .02
colesgrandpaw Posted October 4, 2010 #27 Posted October 4, 2010 (edited) Murph i agree with your 2 cents it's not about which group wins it's about how many kids we can help. Edited October 4, 2010 by colesgrandpaw
mhaigwood Posted October 4, 2010 #28 Posted October 4, 2010 This is very worthwhile cause, any help I can be please let me know. Mark
DragonRider Posted October 4, 2010 Author #29 Posted October 4, 2010 You can help in many ways, you could organize a meet and eat and ask for donations for St. Jude, or ask your fellow workers if they would be willing to contribute, or maybe even ask your company if they would make a donation. Really anything you can to raise awareness and donations would be of great benefit to the kids at St. Jude. This is very worthwhile cause, any help I can be please let me know. Mark
