DragonRider Posted October 3, 2010 #1 Posted October 3, 2010 We finally made it home from the 5th Annual St. Jude Meet & Eat & Tour. Had a grand time, met plenty of new faces and we have been challenged, I will tell more about that later. Its after midnite and need to get to bed so we can get up and make it to church on time.. To recap the ride we had 16 bikes, 1 cage, and a total of 26 bodies. Our final donation for 2010 was $1,876.00. Very good considering we didnt have Vogel to help with the totals......... Thanks again to everyone who donated, bid, contributed, and supported this effort, it was a great team effort by all.

b2dad Posted October 3, 2010 #7 Posted October 3, 2010 Sorry I didn't post last nite...was really tired. Had some drama today too, but will post that later. As Midnite said, we were all very touched by this experience and so very glad to see the ones that could join us for the tour. We understand not everyone could make it but you support this cause in other ways. Can't wait for next year...and the challenge is on, right Lewis? Don:thumbsup:
wes0778 Posted October 3, 2010 #8 Posted October 3, 2010 I just made it home, after a wild night in Tunica! Sorry there seem to be no pictures... I guess what happens in Tunica stays in Tunica!!! Had a wonderful ride home this morning! I told the Garmin lady to take me home and started following her advice. But then I got to Hwy 3 South and "she" was telling me go straight, Well what the heck I turned right. Well she started Re-calculating until I got to an interesting road to the left. It turned out to be a very nice back road with some neat, for this part of the world, twisties and hills. It finally took me to I-55 for a boring rest of the 180 miles home. And the wind today was rough too, but at least for the most part it was a tail wind!!! Again, good to see everyone:178: If any of you end up in the Jackson, MS area, please call or come by:thumbsup:
Guest scarylarry Posted October 3, 2010 #9 Posted October 3, 2010 Made back home safe sound and uneventful, which always a good thing, wind was rough and the air was nippy.. Now for some 90 poof antifreeze... It great to see old friends and make new ones at...Kinda like that northern Ala. bunch they seem to be ok:big-grin-emoticon: Even the short one that look so cute at the buffet holding her plate over her head as the person behind the counter puts the food on her plate, then to watch her jump in her booster seat was so cute...
