colesgrandpaw Posted October 3, 2010 #1 Posted October 3, 2010 We got home from St. Judes about 8:00 oclock, other than fighting the cross winds on I 40 everything went well. (even the plug in the tire) It was good to see old friends and make new ones. Hope everyone makes it home safe.

Wayne O Posted October 3, 2010 #3 Posted October 3, 2010 Well after several sites in Memphis and touring historical places, I am at a mid-way point on the trip back home. Will post again when we get back sometime tommorrow evening. But any way the night manager at the motel we stopped at tonight was intriuged with me being out on a cool night this far from home, so when I told him te reason for the trip out, he began to tear up....said that they moved out here from Pa a couple years ago, when his 2 year old son was diagnosed with cancer. And also that St judes has his son on a 4 year treatment plan and has 2 years to go,,,,,and is doing really good with treatment and is expected a full recovery. Was so thankful for all the group has done for the cause,,,,and that his family has had to pay nothing for care from St Judes. In appreciation for the cause he book me in an 80.00 room for only 44.00,,,and countinued to thank us as we went upstairs,,,,now thats the COOLEST THING other than getting to see everyone from the group.
