Guest tx2sturgis Posted September 29, 2010 #1 Posted September 29, 2010 (edited) Well...sort of. These guys do some frequent flight testing just a mile from where I live, so today, when I heard that familiar 'thrrrrumping' sound, I grabbed my camera and handheld radio and rode out to the airport to take some pictures and video. The pictures and video were recorded on my new iPhone4. Dave77459 Posted September 29, 2010 #2 Posted September 29, 2010 That's dang cool. You think they are loud until you remember how loud Harriers are. LOL Dave
Condor Posted September 29, 2010 #3 Posted September 29, 2010 I liked that. To bad they didn't do a fly by with the engines horizontal...
LilBeaver Posted September 29, 2010 #4 Posted September 29, 2010 Very cool. I guess that is a reason to ride to Plainview... By the way that video quality was impressive; are you sure that video camera makes phone calls too?
hipshot Posted September 29, 2010 #5 Posted September 29, 2010 outstanding video! thank you for that. gotta hand it to Apple, they put a heck-of-a camera system in the i phone 4 . just jt
BEER30 Posted September 30, 2010 #6 Posted September 30, 2010 I live right across the street from a TLZ (Tactical Landing Zone) and have them buzzing around all the time. I always wanted to pull out the camcorder and record them. BEER30
