I purchased two items at a dollar store that had plastic "hooks" attached, as shown in the pictures. As you can see, I hung the hooks on the existing helmet holders on my 88VR. While they obviously don't lock, they sure make it easier to hang my helmets there.

Brian Simple really---run the piece thu the D ring on the helmet and then hook the hole thru the helmet lock on the bike. Its longer and easier than trying to hook the D ring on the helmet lock.
