BlueVenture87 Posted September 28, 2010 #1 Posted September 28, 2010 Soooo. I need a set of tires on my '87. There seems to be lots of joy about tbe Dunlop E3s but what fits? 140/90-16 and 120/90-18 don't directly match up with what Dunlop lists. Sorry if this has been beat to death! Thanks in Advance! -BlueVenture87

BlueVenture87 Posted October 1, 2010 Author #4 Posted October 1, 2010 I must have somethig confused, it's a new machine to me. Maybe a first gen version 2.0? I've added a picture to my profile of the cycle in qusetion. So what is it besides an '87 venture 1300?
Freebird Posted October 1, 2010 #5 Posted October 1, 2010 That's OK....it's not a big deal. For future reference though, at this site we call the '83 - '93 models "First Gen" and the '99 - Present the "Second Gen". Not a problem that you posted it in the wrong place it's just that you will get better responses if you post in the correct area. Either way, you'll get answers because many of us have owned both generations and know will have an answer or make something up.
Seaking Posted October 1, 2010 #6 Posted October 1, 2010 LOL that's a fine looking FIRST Generation 1987 model you have there.. SECOND generation models start in 1999 and carry on.. so you're in the wrong forum.. (bikes are very different though similar to some) Some will argue the first gens were better than the second gens.. I wouldn't know, I only have a second gen.. and I ride it a lot.. though I got my floorboard blown away by some crazy first gener in Pennsylvania the other year (grumble grumble) Cheers M8!
BlueVenture87 Posted October 1, 2010 Author #7 Posted October 1, 2010 Thanks for everyone's patience! And no flames! Toto, I'm not in Kansas anymore! Later! -JK
Seaking Posted October 1, 2010 #8 Posted October 1, 2010 We RSV types are nice people =) We don't flame.. we make fun of HD people but that's as rowdy as we get really.. Cheers M8
