Guest chaslaud Posted September 20, 2006 #1 Posted September 20, 2006 My headlight shines too high, how do I adjust it so that it shines about 5 degrees lower?
Pilot Posted September 20, 2006 #2 Posted September 20, 2006 Look on the left side of the bike just forward of the gas tank. There's a black knob mounted on the back side of the front end that you turn. I think this is the one that adjusts the beam up and down.
BMW Posted September 20, 2006 #3 Posted September 20, 2006 Isn't that the adjusting knob just left of the steering column in the fairing. Better late than never.

I guess it depends on what bike...on my 85 venture royale there is a black plastic knob approx 2 " in diameter just to the left and slightly above the handle bars. Turning it counter-clockwise increases the height, clockwise lowers it. Be careful, ride safe themarshal
