MicroSD/Transflash Memory

Not bike related, exactly.....I need a 256 mb microSD card for my phone. It won't recognize the newer 1gig cards~

The smallest one I've seen recently is 512mb. Just bought two of them for my kids phones. Do a search on Amazon.com. There is a vendor in Minneapolis called SF planet that sells them via Amazon.

Ronnie I had the same problem with my Palm Pilot not being able to use the 1g Palm said it was because the unit cannot handle the size of the card I am not a computer genius so I just accepted the answer,Wallmart and officmax also sells the 512 cards

Someone on this site told me you can use 8 gig cards in a zumo 550 which I guess max was 512mb I think according to directions but this guy said you format the sd card fat32 format whatever that means. I havent tried it I just remeber something about 512 mb cards being max but I think the SDHC cards are different and need a different format but I dont know for sure.

I had the problem with my razor phone until I formatted the card. Now I use the 1GB card. I just let the phone format it. There was a selection in the phone memory as I remember
