eagleeye Posted November 1, 2007 #1 Posted November 1, 2007 Does anyone know what years the palomino version was offered? Also, was it offered as a Royal Star, and or Venture? Steve
Condor Posted November 1, 2007 #2 Posted November 1, 2007 We have a list of colors under the history section of this site. Basically the years for Aluvial gold were the 83 Royale, 84 Standard, and 87 Standard. COLORS
pegscraper Posted November 1, 2007 #3 Posted November 1, 2007 I think someone is lost in 1st gen land. This is a Royal Star Palomino. I don't know the year of this, or what other years the Royal Star was offered like this. The 2000 Millenium edition Venture is done in this color combination, but I don't think it's called a Palomino. Check the June Venturerider calendar picture. The member doesn't have a photo gallery here. Maybe someone else has one.

There are a few 1stGen riders that refer to there gold 'steeds' as palaminos... blonds...etc. Youse guys need to learn that there's another Venture world besides 99 to pres. Of course if the question had mentioned 2ndGen there wouldn't ha ve been any confusion..... It's an old age thing....
eagleeye Posted November 1, 2007 Author #5 Posted November 1, 2007 I think that we have a generation gap here:rotf: the pic, I believe is a 97. I was just wondering how many different years they offered the palomino as an option. And if they offered it as a venture. Steve
pegscraper Posted November 1, 2007 #6 Posted November 1, 2007 Of course if the question had mentioned 2ndGen... The question did mention "Royal Star". That ain't a 1st gen... I'm sure it must be hard to realize that the world did continue to revolve after 1993. (I won't poke too hard though. I'm not that far behind y'all.) I think that we have a generation gap here the pic, I believe is a 97. I was just wondering how many different years they offered the palomino as an option. And if they offered it as a venture. I'm not positive, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's a one year deal, like virtually every other paint color combination from Y. A Venture Lite is probably your only option. How do you identify that as a '97? The basic style didn't change from '96 - '01.
eagleeye Posted November 1, 2007 Author #7 Posted November 1, 2007 How do you identify that as a '97? I've seen 97 royal star palominos for sale in the past. I think it's more about the seat color. Kinda a western theme going there. Steve

I just looked at the line under Eagleeye's ID and saw the '86.... Like I said it was an old age moment... Sorry...
BEER30 Posted November 1, 2007 #9 Posted November 1, 2007 As always , just a bunch of confused 1st gen'rs ! :rotf: BEER30
SilvrT Posted November 1, 2007 #10 Posted November 1, 2007 As always , just a bunch of confused 1st gen'rs ! :rotf: BEER30 here we go again.... someone said in another post... mention oil and it goes downhill from there... in this case, mention 1st gen or 2nd gen and guess what... it goes downhill from there...the whole thread reverts to jabbing each other... Can't we refrain from this JUST ONCE in a thread???? (talk about asking a dumb question...) ps... 2nd genners are wusses...:rotf::rotf:
Condor Posted November 1, 2007 #11 Posted November 1, 2007 here we go again.... Can't we refrain from this JUST ONCE in a thread???? OK I won't mention 'just once' ever again......

pegscraper Posted November 2, 2007 #13 Posted November 2, 2007 The 2000 Millenium Venture comes in these ivory paint and tan seat colors. It's not called a Palomino, but it's the closest thing you're going to find. And I'm pretty sure this is the only year for these colors. I found a member here who has one in his gallery. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/vbpicgallery.php?do=view&g=1034
eagleeye Posted November 2, 2007 Author #14 Posted November 2, 2007 Thanks to those who had something positive to add. One last question, Is it possible that a 2002 had that seat and paint color? Steve
notlostnow Posted October 28, 2015 #15 Posted October 28, 2015 To the best of my knowledge, the Palomino edition was only available in a 1997 Royal Star. It came out with Ivory Pearl paint and tan leathers. It's a gorgeous combination! Fewer than 100 were made (I've read that it was actually only 87).
SilvrT Posted October 28, 2015 #16 Posted October 28, 2015 @notlostnow FYI, the most recent post to your's was 2007 (just sayin... )

SilvrT Posted October 29, 2015 #18 Posted October 29, 2015 A good post is never to old It is when a guy (like me) sees he's posted in it but has no recollection of doing it.
