Windshield tinting

Does anyone know if there is a way to tint the windshield on a bike? I want mine tinted and I don't want to spend the money to buy a new one. I read something about putting the "stick on" tint on plexiglass and how it will bubble up but is there a way to actually tint the plexi with paint or dye of some sort?

 

Any advice is appreciated.

I heard somewhere that Stain glass paint works.

Hey I do not know how to upload the file for you......but in your computer, go to search and put in Tinting of lexan plastic windshields. For some reason the file is too big to upload. It will refer you to NASCAR. I had some experience with the BlackHawk chopper and it had tinted lexan. They used this product. It is not like this stuff you get for automobiles. Tis good stuff. and you can just peel it off....with some work......and redo it later....it protects the lexan........how expensive.......do not know.......might be better to just buy a Clearview every couple years.........Kit
