I recently came down with a illness and have not been able to ride for past yr. reluct to sell bike i actually placed for sale today, with that being said when i uncovered the bike and started up, (it started first fire) i proceeded to let warm up, as i placed into First gear the bike shut off :bang head:. doing this a couple times with same result :bawling:, just my luck, Friday, (tomorrow) i have two folks commin by to look at bike and it won't toodle down the road. any advice please help!!!. here is my number, e-mail, first born ect ect.

spray some lube onto the kickstand switch plunger and work it a bit...it will be fine

OMGosh!!!! THIS SITE ROCKS but even more you guys rock. Thank you very much for the advice! You guys really did save me!!! now it's a shame i still have to sell the bike. once health is better and i can support a bike upright we will look at another one. !!

Spray a LOT of WD-40 into the boot around the sidestand switch, until it flows out. Work it a few dozen times and spray some more. That should do it. Good luck!
