as part of my second retirement plan, i was wanting to buy a new ford fiesta and have it paid for. well i could'nt find a fiesta so i went for a focus. i found a 2010 focus with $3000,00 cash back and my z plan discount of $1500.00, i got a fully loaded new focus for $14,400.00. i feel guilty, but it sure feels good to have it payed for. retirement is getting closer. can't wait. glad i got the focus. i don't think the fiesta was what i really wanted. :clap2: :2133:

I'm glad you found what you really wanted.

Also glad you were able to steal it, because I know what you gave away to get it.:dancefool:

BTW, last night I found a light built in to the handle on the trunk but couldn't figure out how to make it come on. Do you know if it is hooked up or how it works?

I have a 2010 Focus SEL, I must say that after driving a Taurus for 5 years I'm somewhat dissappointed with the Focus.
this is my second focus. my first one was okay, but it was the first year. this one is like a mini luxury car. so far i really like it. i made the right choice. haven't had a full sized car since my 72 ford galaxy. mostly escorts and trucks. that new taurus is a beauty.

Yeah my Buick looked better than the Tarus, would outrun, outdrive and held up better than the Tarus. I thought I caught a good deal on the Tarus and that guy is probally still laughing!!

I do not know your taste in cars at all but the focus is leaps and bounds above the fiesta. Whenever I'm in England for work I usually end up with a fiesta. Those cars are freaking tiny. They drive okay, but holy smokes. I am by no means a big guy but I found it very uncomfortable all around (seating position, legroom, passenger room, 'stuff' room, etc). It reminded me of my dad's 92 la mans...

It seems to me that the fiesta is like a step down from the escort...

I like my focus but It's not as fun as our other cars.

yep thats how i was beginning to feel. kind of started thinking it was a throw away car. the new automatic kind of scared me off. no torque converter and dry clutches sealed with no dipstick. they say it was designed to last up to 150,000 miles. key scare words up to. :depressed:
