E-Fishin-C Posted September 16, 2010 #1 Posted September 16, 2010 This is the 2010 MotoCzysz E1pc, a race bike built by a tiny Oregonian company focused on pushing the limits of electric performance to the absolute max. It packs 10 times the battery capacity of a Toyota Prius and 2.5 times the torque of a Ducati 1198 into a package that looks like something out of a 24th-century Thunderdome. Tomorrow it will race in the Isle of Man TT, the toughest motorcycle race in the world. The technology at work is so advanced, so unprecedented, that we may be looking not just at the future of motorcycles, but of all electric vehicles. http://www.popsci.com/cars/article/2010-06/inside-story-motoczysz-e1pc-worlds-most-advanced-electric-motorcycle
Marcarl Posted September 16, 2010 #2 Posted September 16, 2010 Boy you had me thinkin' there for a minute, thought you was going to buy an electric now, I really thought you were going off the deep end,,,, well maybe you have already,,,, but you just wanted us to be assured you weren't coming back to the right side anytime soon.
Evan Posted September 16, 2010 #3 Posted September 16, 2010 Read the entire report Charlie - facinating - but the race took place several months ago. How did it do?
elag Posted September 16, 2010 #4 Posted September 16, 2010 Wonder how it would sound with a set of screamin' eagles?
Bummer Posted September 16, 2010 #5 Posted September 16, 2010 It won the TT Zero (zero emissions race) with an average lap speed of 96.82 mph. It topped 140 at one point. Interesting that they have a zero emissions race. I guess they mean zero emissions at the track.
