What kind of gas mileage are you getting on your trikes.Mine is an 07 Hannigan trike and I am getting around 30 miles per gallon, riding between 60 & 65 mph .My brother in law is getting his Rsv back from the trike shop Monday .The guy building the trike said I should be getting better mileage than that.Should I be getting mine checked/:95:

I think that's about what I get towing the trailer. I do avg around 32-34 as a rule. The Hannigan also runs a lower gearing thus effecting it. 3:73 on the Hannigan opposed to 3:42 on the Tri-Wing which means at 70 you'll be running about another 250 rpm's.

That should sound normal, no? The extra weight, wind resistance and tire friction would drop your mileage enough to make a notice.. heck, on the highway, doing 65-70 I'm averaging 35-38 mpg.. A smoother acceleration and take off also makes a difference in mileage over a tank load.
