Oldslow Posted September 9, 2010 #2 Posted September 9, 2010 Wow...can't say that ever crossed my mind.
Sleeperhawk Posted September 9, 2010 #3 Posted September 9, 2010 Their kids now have evidence that they are certifiably nut jobs. That is just plain krazy.
Brake Pad Posted September 9, 2010 #4 Posted September 9, 2010 I don't no, I think I would have fallen over, laughing my butt off:rotf::rotf:
flb_78 Posted September 9, 2010 #5 Posted September 9, 2010 That's just stupid... Everyone knows you're supposed to do it while they're still in the bed of the pickup!!!
Condor Posted September 9, 2010 #6 Posted September 9, 2010 That's nutzo.... What some folks won't do for a few minutes of fame... If I'd done that to the '83 I wouldn't have been able to start it for a month. Sez a lot about the Harley electrical system....
paysaw Posted September 9, 2010 #7 Posted September 9, 2010 Well as you know, there are not many moving parts in a Harley...
Venturous Randy Posted September 9, 2010 #8 Posted September 9, 2010 That's nutzo.... What some folks won't do for a few minutes of fame... If I'd done that to the '83 I wouldn't have been able to start it for a month. Sez a lot about the Harley electrical system.... Ditto, I was thinking exactly the same thing. RandyA
etcswjoe Posted September 9, 2010 #9 Posted September 9, 2010 (edited) I hate to say but I went through an automated car wash on a dirt bike when I was a teenager. Edited September 9, 2010 by etcswjoe Spelling
LilBeaver Posted September 9, 2010 #10 Posted September 9, 2010 That's just stupid... Everyone knows you're supposed to do it while they're still in the bed of the pickup!!!
Carbon_One Posted September 9, 2010 #11 Posted September 9, 2010 I could see using that type of car wash to get the bike clean but for sure I wouldn't be siting on it either. Park the bike and get off, let the machine do the job and then ride it out. Larry
Aimhigh Posted September 9, 2010 #12 Posted September 9, 2010 I didn't think Harley folks wore helmets...or is that just when washing the bike?
Yammer Dan Posted September 9, 2010 #13 Posted September 9, 2010 I just told the Warden the other day that I wanted to try that!! How about the one that has the whirling brushes in it??
fxitdude Posted September 9, 2010 #14 Posted September 9, 2010 I just told the Warden the other day that I wanted to try that!! How about the one that has the whirling brushes in it?? I saw a car that went thought one with the brushes once that had an antenna caught in them it beat all the paint off of one side of the car and broke out he window on the passenger side. Not pretty would not want to be in there on a bike.
slick97spirit Posted September 9, 2010 #15 Posted September 9, 2010 I didn't think Harley folks wore helmets...or is that just when washing the bike? NO, NO, NO........that was just their shower caps...
krome rose Posted September 9, 2010 #16 Posted September 9, 2010 THIS is why the gubmint makes obvious statements on products to protect us from our own stupidity. "do not use this appliance around or in water" "do not use this plastic bag as a toy" "do not mix this cleanser with chlorine bleach" "do not take internally" Brandy
Nighthawk II Posted September 10, 2010 #17 Posted September 10, 2010 Hmmmmmm I just wonder.......Nah, If I was that drunk the bike would be laying on it's side before I cleared the garage door.
uncledj Posted September 10, 2010 #18 Posted September 10, 2010 That's about what it was like riding through tropical storm David in South Fla. in the mid 80s. It was on my Honda 750, the electrical system didn't like it much, which is why I couldn't stop. Running on two cylinders, I was sure that if I stopped, I'd never get her runnin' again, and I was a long way from home, so I just kept a goin. By the time I got to my destination, sun was out and I was runnin' on all four. It was quite an experience.
Yama Mama Posted September 10, 2010 #19 Posted September 10, 2010 I thought it was funny. But I did wonder if the spray wax was used , I would worry about it on my tires. Yama Mama:happy65:
Trader Posted September 10, 2010 #20 Posted September 10, 2010 very efficient! Not only did they get the bike washed...but they also got their clothes washed and their monthly shower at the same time. I would think the high pressure would sting a bit on bare skin though!! As for the wax....I understand that some women get waxed quite reqularly!
Yammer Dan Posted September 10, 2010 #21 Posted September 10, 2010 As for the wax....I understand that some women get waxed quite reqularly! I thought that would be a good retirement job.
flb_78 Posted September 10, 2010 #22 Posted September 10, 2010 I thought that would be a good retirement job. She's ready for her Brazil, Dan... http://www.spartyandfriends.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/roseanne1.jpg

krome rose Posted September 10, 2010 #24 Posted September 10, 2010 Oh, and I agree with the wax on the tires being dangerous...but what about the hair? uhh. on the head, that is! Brandy
dunvilsteev Posted September 12, 2010 #25 Posted September 12, 2010 Clean the bike. Clean the rider and passenger. Power wash off those old tatts, time for some new ink.
