mini-muffin Posted September 9, 2010 #1 Posted September 9, 2010 Here's a few pics of the back of my V-Star with the added lights. Muffinman has already made it a big lower and I can actually flat foot it. Makes it a lot easier to hold up a bike too, imagine that. He made the turn signals into running lights as well as turn signals. I think it's pretty bright back there now. Margaret
BuckShot Posted September 9, 2010 #3 Posted September 9, 2010 Lights are good--looks good and nice job also.
Yama Mama Posted September 11, 2010 #6 Posted September 11, 2010 That looks very Margaret. I did not know that you got a bike. Yama Mama:smile5:
Dano Posted September 11, 2010 #7 Posted September 11, 2010 Great. Now the 2nd genners gotta put up with Mini passing them too! Good looking rear lighting, when does he put the turbo on there?!!
Uturn Posted September 13, 2010 #8 Posted September 13, 2010 That's GREAT... MINIs got a V-SHORT!!! MIKE aka Uturn
Guest tx2sturgis Posted September 13, 2010 #9 Posted September 13, 2010 Hey Mini! Congrats on the bike! BTW...in most states its not exactly legal to have amber colored running lights on the rear, so I'd be looking for some red lenses for the turn signals. mini-muffin Posted September 13, 2010 Author #10 Posted September 13, 2010 It's and '04 and we bought it from Blackjack. I still have to get my license and take a safety course. Plan on getting the course at the end of Oct since we have so many places we're gonna be heading to. I'll get some more pics up later, just thought I'd show off the lights since it needed more light on the back. Margar4et

mini-muffin Posted September 13, 2010 Author #13 Posted September 13, 2010 Actually it's white but it was at night when I took those pics so we'll give ya a break. Not sure color blind covers white, gray, or silver. Margaret
oldgoat Posted September 14, 2010 #14 Posted September 14, 2010 its ok mini just that with my MS sometimes colors gets washed out. from my medication. still nice bike. now pass the course and enjoy it...........
jrsc4excel Posted September 14, 2010 #15 Posted September 14, 2010 You may have missed the statement in a previous post that stated that any amber color that remains lite on the rear of any vehicle is not legal.
mini-muffin Posted September 14, 2010 Author #16 Posted September 14, 2010 It's not illegal in the state of NC to have amber lights on the back of a motorcycle. As a matter of fact turn signals aren't even required, go figure. Margaret

Margaret You might actually want to ride that thing in another state someday...and a cop COULD use that as an excuse to pull you over. Just sayin!
