Blackjack Posted September 7, 2010 #1 Posted September 7, 2010 Moto 400, which is a fairly large motorcycle dealership in Dawsonville GA (and which we've visited a couple of times during our North GA M&Es), has just announced that it is dropping both its' Yamaha and Triumph lines and is converting completely and exclusively to a pre-owned sales model. They indicate in their newsletter that the cost of maintaining new inventory, coupled with decreased demand and financing constraints has led them to this far-reaching business decision. This is a great location with a great staff, so it's not like they didn't take care of their Customers. I, for one, wish them well as they move forward... Habib the Supportive
Squidley Posted September 8, 2010 #2 Posted September 8, 2010 It's going to get lots worse before it gets any better...it is a sad sign for sure
ediddy Posted September 8, 2010 #3 Posted September 8, 2010 I have been to that dealership several times and hate to hear the bad news. However I have called on them several times and left my business cards and told them I can get a customer the best rate available on insurance. They love progressive and won't consider any other company. I told them if they want their customers to pay double or triple to stay with progressive. The lady in the accessory department said she has progressive on her personal bike and wouldn't change. Oh well, I guess they have more money than they need. As an example I just insured an 09 Venture for someone in Peachtree City. This guy had 300,000 liablity, same uninsured and 250 deductible on comp and coll. He was paying $900.00 per with Nationwide. I quoted him with the six companies I represent and progressive was the highest at $2,200 per year. I got him better coverage for $500.00 per year.
ArcsSparks Posted September 8, 2010 #4 Posted September 8, 2010 I have Nationwide and love it free roadside assistance (used it twice) My bike is 32.17 a month couldn't find cheaper OR better anywhere
