dray Posted September 6, 2010 #4 Posted September 6, 2010 you may want to look for other mounts when i put my gps on my vstar i didnt have a mount for it that would work so i used a ipod mount and cut it up and used most of it then drilled two holes in my gps mount to screw it to the ipod ram mount and it has worked great for years now i need a new part to mount it to the wing but im sure i can use it just need to make a new piece to hook the ball to the handlebar
csogbk Posted September 6, 2010 Author #5 Posted September 6, 2010 Good one Aussie Annie!! Cap'n Eddie I'd love to see some pics and work out a trade!! Thanks!!
titansedriver Posted September 6, 2010 #6 Posted September 6, 2010 Why all of these "high dollar"-"time consuming" methods?--I have a TOM-TOM 3rd Edition--I went to Wal-Mart and bought a roll of "Velcro Tape".....Covered the lower half of my cassette player cover with the Male side and the entire back of the TOM-TOM with the female side-----------It takes 2 hands and a crowbar to pry it off when I wanna store it (lol)!---and the position is perfect to just glance over and see the screen..................................Larry
