Wedge LED Bulbs

I believe the wedge bulbs that are in the Venture Line trunk and bag light bars, 1st Edition anyway, are 194's. Has anyone found a good source for buying these bulbs. The only outlet I can find is superbrightleds.com and each bulb from them is 1.98. I need only 24 of these things and really don't think they are worth $2 each. Any other recommended sources? Thanks

um, do you mean a 194 bulb. The 198 is a double contact base bulb, not a wedge. I don't have a 1st gen so I don't know what they use.

The cross ref doesn't show them replacing the 194's I need to go see what I need. That would be a great deal if they work.

Dano, You're correct; 194 wedge bulb is what I need times 24. Once I get home I'll check out the ebay thing recommended. I'm blocked here at work - barracuda

That looks to be the same cross reference from the SuperBrightLED web page. On the Super Bright LED page it is listed as a 194/168 LED bulb that replaces all of those in the list.

I bought all my wedge bulbs from superbrightleds and spent more than $1.98 each on most of them to get the brighter, wider field of light. No regrets.

 

It's been all season and I haven't had to replace any of them. Great brightness, long life, duarable......it's worth the little extra $$ to do it once and be done with it.
