pegscraper Posted August 31, 2010 Share #26 Posted August 31, 2010 I'll be keeping my existing cell phones as they are. The Droid is primarily for internet use, and it will be so busy that I pretty well have to have a separate phone.
BuddyRich Posted August 31, 2010 Share #27 Posted August 31, 2010 I have never dropped a call on my Android. And if you get Sprint 4G there's no limit on downloads on that. But its an additional 10 a month for the 4G, which by the way is way fast if you happen to be in a city where its at.
pegscraper Posted September 6, 2010 Share #28 Posted September 6, 2010 For the last 4 evenings, Cable internet has dropped. Leaving me all alone in the twilight zone , No cyberspace either. Thank Goodness for my Droid. By tethering it to the laptop, at least I have connection. For those on the Droid network , download PDANet from the Market Place. It make it possible to get the Net for emergencies and travel. And it's Free and FAST too ! BEER30 via the Driod/Laptop Question for you - Why does one need the PDANet app? Why wouldn't you tether the DX to the computer with bluetooth and use it that way with no umbilical cord? Incidentally, Verizon does still have an unlimited data plan.
