We're heading out on vacation this Friday after work, hope to make it somewhere down in Ohio on Day 1. Beth and I are both off for 2 weeks, and we've made some plans.

Memphis...paddle wheeler, Uncle Lou's Chicken, Graceland....Nashville...who knows what? Then off we go like a herd of turtles to San Antonio.....the Alamo, Riverwalk....then over to Tomball-Conroe to meet up with the "Texans".

Then, it's off to Savannah, and mosey on north back home. It might not look like much of a plan, but we stop where and when we want to....see something, let's stop....that type of trip.

The bike has new front brakes, new Elite 3 tires back and front, going to do fresh engine oil and rear diff oil one night this week.....we did a 700 k trip yesterday, and all appears well, as it should.

Yup, we're excited about it.....haven't named it yet...but something along the lines of monkey butt or flat butt tour would probably fit pretty well. Eldest son is taking care of the house, dog and cat....or maybe it's visa versa....hopefully the house is in one piece when we get home

So, if you see an 04 Midnite with a couple of smiling, happy Canucks riding...it's probably us! We'll wave at ya. Keep the light on for us!

Less than one week and Nina & I are off on 2 weeks vacation also.

Your vacation sounds kinda boring tho compared to ours.... we're going to SASKATCHEWAN!!!

:rotf: :rotf:

:sign just kidding: about the boring LOL

Actually Sask is our turn-around point and we're stopping over there to visit Nina's mom. We'll be pullin our trailer and camping most of the time and will be travelling thru the US on the return route. Have an awesome and safe holiday!

Here's our "route" ...

The wife (Looie) and I call that a Chuck Berry vacation - you know - "No Particular Place To Go"! Best vacations we ever had in the States were all that type, and we will be doing a lot more of them on two wheels. Good luck to you both, and safe journey.

Hey K!

We'll see about fitting you in....we've budgeted for motels for 2 weeks, thanks for the offer!(Heck, we're still newlyweds, wouldn't want to keep you up all night)

Not sure exactly where you're at...but I'll look it up on the map before we head down your way.

Not everybody gets to vacation in Saskatchewan...especially when there's no snow! Folks toes ought to be thawed out just in time for the next freeze up in September

Enjoy your trip as well....one of these days we'll hit B.C.!

Enjoy the ride sounds like a nice trip you have planned

We are hiding down in Ohio (with the cage) riding roller coasters in the heat, sure feels like Texas here. :rotf:

These type of trips often turn out to be the best. Enjoy each day and bring back great memories!
