kyle Posted August 27, 2010 Author #10 Posted August 27, 2010 its the americas best xl... some guy named road kill pawned it off on me...lol. we like it alot, a little fine tuning and add-ons its ready for the labor day kentucky lake trip. as far as the model in the pic, she's trying to figure out how much clothes and shoes it will hold. i still get to wear the same jeans for a week.
Aussie Annie Posted August 27, 2010 #11 Posted August 27, 2010 its the americas best xl... some guy named road kill pawned it off on me...lol. we like it alot, a little fine tuning and add-ons its ready for the labor day kentucky lake trip. as far as the model in the pic, she's trying to figure out how much clothes and shoes it will hold. i still get to wear the same jeans for a week. Tell her not to forget to leave a space for the hair dryer
Sgtglenn Posted August 27, 2010 #12 Posted August 27, 2010 I've got the XL trailer and absolutely love it Makes going on trips a breeze - no more worrying what to pack - she can take it all with her. Don't feel it while cruising. Be sure to give yourself more room / time for braking, that's when you feel it pushing. I've been running tires at 25 psi with good results.
kyle Posted August 27, 2010 Author #13 Posted August 27, 2010 hair dryer ?? the girl has two, one for each hand.... lol don't forget the face paint too.
Monty Posted August 27, 2010 #14 Posted August 27, 2010 Where you staying at , while at Kentucky Lake? We live about 5 miles from Paris Landing.
hunter 1500 Posted August 27, 2010 #15 Posted August 27, 2010 I bought one on Ebay just like it last spring. Got it for $1200+ shipping. Shipping wasn't bad, like $79 I think. Put about 3k on the trailer. Getting the weight distributed correctly is the biggest part.
kyle Posted August 28, 2010 Author #16 Posted August 28, 2010 monty, were staying at moors marina. about 10 miles south of gilbertsville, ky. looking forward to riding the trace, heard good things about it.
Monty Posted August 28, 2010 #17 Posted August 28, 2010 The Trace is a very nice ride. Just watch out for deer, and stick to the speed limit. Lots of deer in LBL, and the LEO's DO enforce the speed limits on the trace. What day are you planning on riding it?
