silent67 Posted August 26, 2010 #26 Posted August 26, 2010 I thought I'd show you guys my new ride. It's not a Yamaha, but it's still a bike and it's still fun to ride. Okay I should have sucked my gut in a little... Nice bike! Oh and that ain't a gut, compared to some other folks I've seen.
silverdeer0454 Posted August 26, 2010 #27 Posted August 26, 2010 Very nice looking ride. I have been looking at HD's and a Goldwing lately. And as far as the "gut" thing goes: 1. Us older guys don't need "six packs" we have kegs. 2. It's "undeveloped" muscle. 3. It's a replacement for air bags, costs less and is easy to maintain in it's present form.
eazyduzzit Posted August 26, 2010 Author #28 Posted August 26, 2010 Enjoy it we will stop and wait on you!!! That's awfully nice of you. Really it's not that slow though, even though the rider might be.
hunter 1500 Posted August 26, 2010 #30 Posted August 26, 2010 Nice bike. Can't go wrong with a Harley. Plenty of places to get them fixed.
latchkey Posted August 26, 2010 #31 Posted August 26, 2010 nice bike, but now you`ll have to change your dress code to fit your bike. hopefully thats all you`ll have to change.
eazyduzzit Posted August 26, 2010 Author #32 Posted August 26, 2010 nice bike, but now you`ll have to change your dress code to fit your bike. hopefully thats all you`ll have to change. Yeah, I've noticed a lot of guys on Harleys have scarfs on their head with a long gray pony tail hanging out the back. I told Karen I will have to look for a clip on pony tail for the weekends and maybe a few iron on tattoos. Just so I'll look the part.
Guest scarylarry Posted August 26, 2010 #33 Posted August 26, 2010 Remember you will want to cut down or stop all personal hygiene to look the part and save money for more chrome..
jpbragwell1215 Posted August 27, 2010 #34 Posted August 27, 2010 WOW! I saw this bike today on my visit to Jim's house. Super sharp, great color. The ole Yamaha tour deluxe is a great bike as well. It's obvious that you take good care of your rides. If anyone is looking for a 2005 Venture Tour Deluxe with loads of options you need to contact Jim. The bike will not dissapoint, and at a great price! Good luck with the HD.
