Eddy Posted October 30, 2007 #1 Posted October 30, 2007 My terrier decided to destroy my owners manual today while I was at work. Is there a good place I can go to download another or do I have to buy one from the local stealer??? Eddie Flinchum
az1103 Posted October 30, 2007 #2 Posted October 30, 2007 That sounds like one of those "The dog ate my homework deals". Maybe you are lucky he ate it! Every time I use it I run into typos. They have the carb synch procedure all messed up, the pressures for the shocks are mistranslated from metric, the torque values are misstated..... If you can find a download version you will be paying exactly what it's worth... nothing.
BuddyRich Posted October 30, 2007 #3 Posted October 30, 2007 http://www.starmotorcycles.com/star/service/viewmanuals/viewmanuals.aspx?ls=star Just click on the link and you can save a copy on your pc. If he eats the pc then you gots problems
rosebud Posted October 30, 2007 #5 Posted October 30, 2007 That sounds like one of those "The dog ate my homework deals". Our youngest daughter had to deal with that this year, with a twist, she's the teacher and she had to explain to her class that her dog ate their homework....:rotf::rotf:
Guest BluesLover Posted October 30, 2007 #6 Posted October 30, 2007 I thought one of the members here was kind enough to post a link to both the owner's and service manuals that he keeps on his own server ... maybe do a search on "manuals" and you can find it ... Cheers,
