My left turn signal stopped working, so I picked up a new bulb, replaced it and it glows all the time and also flashes as it should. But I noticed the right one doesn't glow all the time, only upon flashing. My question is - Which one is correct, should the bulb be lit all the time (when turned on, of course!) as the new one is or should it not be lit?? Second guessing? Thanks folks!

I have the answer:

It's his front signal, and the right bulb has the running filament burned out.

The amazing Kreskin strikes again. Unless I'm wrong.

Another wisdom, passed down thru the ages. Always replace them suckers in pairs. Saves the hassle of the other one failing in 2 weeks and then having to go buy another one...( or find the other one you bought 2 weeks prior).

+1 on that. I replaced my bulbs in pairs and put the old good one back in the package and in my little tool bag for an emergency repair.
