running on 2cyls.

My 86vr was running good. On my way home from work.it started acting like running out of gas ,with some backfiring.I checked ohms on pickup coils & ignition coils there OK.But no spark to back 2 plugs.Any ideas would be helpfull.

Have you changed your plug wires and caps anytime recently?

No but ohms tested good. what I thought was strange was no spark at all on rear plugs.

Have you checked the TCI connector -- maybe it is loose.

 

A couple of other things to do -- search this forum on how to check your pickup and ignition coils with a meter.

I've lost spark to both right side twice now and it's been bad TCI connection both times. I have my TCI mounted on top of the air box now (thanks to Squidly) and it just took unplugging and cleaning. Good Luck.
