Redneck Bike Washin' , Finally Rained , Finally cooled off, Priceless, Does it matter , ???

 

Time to wash the bike after 7 weeks of road grime.

 

Got to join 100+ bikes tomorrow to lead in the worlds largest truck parade in Waupun, WI .

 

It's also a fund raiser for Make A Wish.

 

Hopefully I can post another pic of 4 local Ventures with our ABATE group tomorrow night.

 

And it's finally cooled off a bit after 2 weeks of killer heat, for our neck of the woods anyways.

 

So here we are after a few cocktails, with the bike out in the rain, and a soapy rag, ....

Actually, that's our portable fire pit. That's all they allow here. We're just havin' one heck of a time gettin' it started right now. Hopefully it quits rainin' soon, might be easier then?

I told Linda the other day that the Venture needed the dust wiped off, she said OK, walked over to the fridge, got a glass of wine and found her recliner.

 

I'm relatively sure that if the world did come to an end, it would be because Linda is cleaning our Venture.

And this was quite a big rig at the show. The tractor itself in 45 feet long, and pulls a 53 foot trailer.

 

The truck parade lasts about 1-1/2 hours.
