You just can't beat PERFECTION. Rodney Wow, sorry to hear about that. Suppose your doing ok since your back to riding a 2005...
FuzzyRSTD Posted August 11, 2010 Author #27 Posted August 11, 2010 (edited) 8 Total. 2/83's, 1/83_84, 1/87, 1/90, 1/91, 1/93, 1/99, plus 1/88 and 1/91 spare motors. That adds up to a lotta spark plugs, and tires.... So far, it looks like a tie between Condor and Squidley.... 8 Venture and or Tour Deluxe each......Thats 32 spark plugs and 16 tires each. Freebird is the runner up with 5 owned. I have got to get me another one of these bikes. There is a need there..... Two in the garage would be nice. Very good storys and nice bike pictures everyone. Thanks, Fuzzy Edited August 11, 2010 by FuzzyRSTD
99silver Posted August 11, 2010 #28 Posted August 11, 2010 99 R/S BLVD nice bike but no cruise, CB, intercom, Stereo, lockable storage and the list went on, so I found the 99 Silver Venture and the rest is history. I have owned 8 Yamaha's but only 2 V4's.

IronMike Posted February 11, 2014 #39 Posted February 11, 2014 I've got a 2008 and 1/2 I think I'm the only one on that. But just one bike.
Barrycuda Posted February 11, 2014 #40 Posted February 11, 2014 One venture, but 2 bikes owned and 3 total in the stable My first and only venture so far: 2003 RSV, maroon/sand color. Named "Patrice" after the great original comic Patrice O Neal. ( RIP) My first MC ever, 2000 Vulcan Classic FI, 1500cc, bought in '03. Named "Spock" Also a red/ sand color, just matched with RSV without planning it. My buddy from NYC has a 1982 honda CB900F supersport that has been with me since Septemeber'13. All original, mint condition. Has 25k on clock, but he knows I'm riding that girl, whenever and wherever possible. A fun fun ride... He named her Dr. Girlfriend.
TDunc Posted February 11, 2014 #41 Posted February 11, 2014 Here is a pic of the two I have owned. Sold the 06 white Tour Deluxe (Dangit) to buy my kids a car. Wish I had it back now.
cowpuc Posted February 11, 2014 #42 Posted February 11, 2014 I am in the process of wearing out my 5th 83/84 1st Gen.. The bike in the pic (5th one) is an 83, has wayyy over 148k on it (speedo died 2 years ago in Minnesota at 148k), been short shifting it for over 100k (second gear went at 31k) and it is tired!! My first one was a blonde 84 Royale, picked it up in 86 from an estate sale, stator was gone and did the update, the kids and I rode it out to 210k, it also finished its life with no second gear, REAL sloppy front bevel gear, and crank bearings ready to fall out BUT it got me hooked on these outstanding bikes!!! By the way, if you look closely at the pic of my #5 below you may notice the blonde side panels from my 1st Venture on her - ol Pucs a sentimental rascal:smile5: I FINALLY have in my possession an 87 Blonde that I just picked up, no idea whether or not its gonna be a rider but gonna find out!! If it is, it will be number 6 and a real new bike (being a MK2) milestone for Tippy and I - the added plus of riding a 1st gen Venture WITH second gear in it, a working speedo, bigger bags and riding a BLONDE again could prove interesting!!! I have often thought it would be really really fun to own a 2nd Gen RSV (there is something about the MM that has always called my name) but these good old 1st Gens just keep following me home
uncledj Posted February 11, 2014 #43 Posted February 11, 2014 I've had an '87 Venture Standard, and now also have an '06 RSV in Black Cherry.
steamer Posted February 11, 2014 #47 Posted February 11, 2014 Two 99's. first was a silver, sold it after we found our maroon 99 trike. One of only a very few with a Motortrike set up.
Mike G in SC Posted February 11, 2014 #48 Posted February 11, 2014 Got a 2006 RSTD Midnight with high 90k miles and a 2009 RSV with high 60k miles. Both in the carport now, ride both all year. Had a Strat and a Roadstar but one Royal lead to another. Had a few Hondas and Kawasaki's over the years. Pretty happy with the Royals.
jld1960tx Posted February 11, 2014 #49 Posted February 11, 2014 Bought a 2008 Tour de Luxe brand new and put 45K miles on it, then turned it in on a 2012 Midnight Venture S. I have 8K miles on it. I have new tires and an oil change so it is ready for some decent weather. Should be able to put about 10K miles on it this riding season. Love the bikes, still wish I had the Tour.
Carbon_One Posted February 12, 2014 #50 Posted February 12, 2014 I have had a 05RSV / Tri-Wing trike (totaled a year and a half ago) and currently have an 83 Standard and a 09RSV / Hannigan trike. Larry
