kj5ix Posted August 7, 2010 #1 Posted August 7, 2010 Posted this on the Goldwing board so I figured it would fit here also. Except for the Pin Strip that will be here this week it is Done, and rides Great, I still have the Speedo, and Cruse issue to work out though. Introducing Tweety Bird It is YELLER Yep it is definitely Yellow. The only difference between the Hot Rod Pearl Yellow Y130P and the Lamborghini Maiecerlgo, Gallio Deep Pearl Yellow is an extra shot of Pearl. In a couple of the pictures you can see the pearl working on the edges of the, and on the tank. http://i382.photobucket.com/albums/oo265/kj5ix/01%20Venture/tweetybird92.jpg http://i382.photobucket.com/albums/oo265/kj5ix/01%20Venture/tweetybird93.jpg http://i382.photobucket.com/albums/oo265/kj5ix/01%20Venture/tweetybird.jpg http://i382.photobucket.com/albums/oo265/kj5ix/01%20Venture/tweetybird1.jpg http://i382.photobucket.com/albums/oo265/kj5ix/01%20Venture/tweetybird2.jpg http://i382.photobucket.com/albums/oo265/kj5ix/01%20Venture/tweetybird3.jpg http://i382.photobucket.com/albums/oo265/kj5ix/01%20Venture/tweetybird4.jpg http://i382.photobucket.com/albums/oo265/kj5ix/01%20Venture/tweetybird5.jpg http://i382.photobucket.com/albums/oo265/kj5ix/01%20Venture/tweetybird6.jpg http://i382.photobucket.com/albums/oo265/kj5ix/01%20Venture/tweetybird7.jpg http://i382.photobucket.com/albums/oo265/kj5ix/01%20Venture/tweetybird91.jpg http://i382.photobucket.com/albums/oo265/kj5ix/01%20Venture/tweetybird9.jpg

Carbon_One Posted August 8, 2010 #5 Posted August 8, 2010 That looks really sharp and certainly an eye catcher. What kind of contrasting trim have you planned for it. I know you mentioned pin stripping. Stick on types or hand laid paint? Larry

Larry I have 4/16 (1/4) double Electric Met Blue coming this week for the fenders, tank, tour pac, basic accent to break it up, and will be getting hand laid pin graphics/strips the first of the month at a rally here on TX at Grandbury. Kirby Posted August 14, 2010 #23 Posted August 14, 2010 You know, if you had spent one more nickel on the paint job, you could have gotten a Yellow One!!!! Is this what happens if you use too much Lemon Pledge?????:rotfl::rotfl:Seriously, that's a great job!! I like it!!!:thumbsup2:
Grandpagak Posted August 15, 2010 #24 Posted August 15, 2010 wow!! i love that shade of blue.. (just kiddin) looks great!!
kj5ix Posted August 15, 2010 Author #25 Posted August 15, 2010 Ya know Electric Metallic Blue was my second choice,,,, The SO wanted a Yeller Ride,,, and I do like it too. I even toyed with several designs involving the Elect Blue as trim, or accent, but couldn't come up with one that looked right....... I just got the trim pinstripe in Friday which is the Elect Blue, and may work on putting some on today... Wished that I had the tape when I was putting it back together it sure would have been easer to do,,,,,
