dingy Posted August 6, 2010 Share #2 Posted August 6, 2010 That would seem to indicate you have plugged idle circuits in the two carbs. Seafoam it very heavy, like a half can in a tank that is less than half full. Ride it hard for an hour, then let it set for a day or so. Run the rest of the tank out. Fill it with 89 or better about half full and put the rest of the seafoam in and ride it hard some more. You can get seafoam at wal-mart and autozone for sure. It's about $9 for a 16 oz can. cimmer Posted August 6, 2010 Share #3 Posted August 6, 2010 sounds more like a ignition issue the carb. Have you replaced the spark plug wires and spark plugs recently. That would be one of the first things I would do if you havent yet. Hope that helps. Rick F.

Venturous Randy Posted August 10, 2010 Share #5 Posted August 10, 2010 Another thing is having a big vacuum leak on the YICS ports. It takes overcoming the leak to have enough vacuum to open the carb slide up. Wide open it can run strong, but drop it down and that cylinder falls out. Another thing it sounds like is a blocked pilot jet or two. RandyA
