RandyR Posted August 4, 2010 #1 Posted August 4, 2010 New dog at RandyR's house, introducing Filly the Puppy. She's a 12 week old Pyrenees mix. I expect she'll be a 90 lb dog when fully mature. Last night was her first time away from her mother and litter mates, so she was lonesome. But very friendly and intelligent. She'll be a great dog. http://randyrick.us/dogs/Filly1.JPG

Brake Pad Posted August 4, 2010 #6 Posted August 4, 2010 when you let her out at night, put a red flasher on her, so you don't lose her.
RandyR Posted August 5, 2010 Author #8 Posted August 5, 2010 LET THE PEEING BEGIN... ps. great looking pup So far so good. 2 nights in the house, because she's barking when left alone too long outside. And no pee or poop in the house so far, but she does get me up early to let me know she wants out. Then heads for the edge of the woods to do her thing... amen on the red flasher needed at night.... had her first puppy shots and dewormed yesterday...
Yama Mama Posted August 5, 2010 #9 Posted August 5, 2010 Filly sure is cute. Love those little puppies. What a wonderful new friend you have found. Yama Mama
RandyR Posted January 4, 2011 Author #10 Posted January 4, 2011 when you let her out at night, put a red flasher on her, so you don't lose her. Good idea. I bought a red one and a white one. $6 each. One for each dog. clips right on the collar. Can either have steady light or blinking light. About the size of a pingpong ball. Filly the puppy is now 8 months old and weighs 61 pounds, and has a mouth full of shiny white teeth. All things considered, she's not been too much trouble. Had a few things chewed, but nothing too expensive, finally housebroken, but it took a while. Here she is today with her mentor my 7 year old Strength. http://randyrick.us/dogs/Buddies2.JPG
