Midnight Posted August 2, 2010 #1 Posted August 2, 2010 Hi all: What is the specific number of the Elite 3 rear tire that should be used on the 2007 Venture. Looking on line there appears to be only one (MV85HB15). Is that the one? I am running Avons Venoms at present and I know when I ordered it I had to specify which model as there was more than one that would fit Thanks for the help. JR
V7Goose Posted August 2, 2010 #2 Posted August 2, 2010 Yes, the size you listed is the only one for this bike. Avon makes the same size tire in both an H speed rating and a V rating, but there is just one E3. Goose

JR I don't know if you have ordered it yet but I got mine from Canadas Motorcycle for $178 plus tax, total $201 with free shipping, their service was excellent, 2 business days to ship, worth a try. Midnight Posted August 2, 2010 Author #4 Posted August 2, 2010 Thanks for the quick reply Goose. Thanks Ian: I checked out that website and it appears they are on backorder. I will most likely order it from Royal distributing in Guelph if they have it tomorrow. It appears they are the same price. $179 plus tax. Either that or I will get it at Zdeno cycle in Kitchener as their prices are usually good. I need to get at it as it appears I am about to see cords. (22000 km on Avon) JR
Monty Posted August 2, 2010 #5 Posted August 2, 2010 I don't know what it costs to get it to you up there, but Motorcycle Superstore usually sells it for around $110. They have free shipping here, but I don't know about up there, eh.
sarges46 Posted August 3, 2010 #6 Posted August 3, 2010 Buy it south, ship it to a border services if there is one near-by. I just bought 3 of them from Southwestmotors. Cost us 400 bucks after it was all said and done...thats for two fronts, one rear....taxes and exchange rate.
