clawed Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 It made a big difference:thumbsup2: ....bled and changed the fluid, and now the clutch feels like it engages better? (more solid feel , to it). it was just over 3 yrs old. anybody else experience this?
Squidley Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 Yep.....It's good to swap out the fluids every 2 to 3 years, traditional dot 3 and 4 brake fluid absorbs moisture and will decrease the fluids abilities.
hydraulicman Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 Yes it makes a big differnce, mine was 3 years old. I noticed that the bike shifts better than before. I think the fluid line under the engine was getting hot enough to cause the fluid to start to boil, making the system spongy and not releasing the clutch totally.
