She quit talking to me

My Zumo 660 (I believe) just decided to stop providing verbal directions.

I have taken it out and placed it in the auto cradle and it still won't talk. Everything else seems to work OK.

 

Anyone had an issue like this? If so, how did you fix it?

This is a 550 now that I think about it.

My 550 did that once, I took her out and spanked her little bottom, pulled her battery, re-installed the battery and she be behaved just fine

it would appear that many have had similar "issues" ..... but not with a Zumo ... then again, "Zumo" could be used in a number of ways... :rotf:

RoadHand - did you get it to work yet. It really does sound like it needs to reboot. removing the battery might just do it.

I've had that same issue with a couple of models of Garmin. I think it somehow changed the language to none so it couldn't speak. Look for something like that in the menu.

I've got a cheap LG unit

....it doesn't know how to U-Turn!

it will give me a "Turn Right" 3 times, then Turn Left...even if each leg is 2 miles to do it!
