2005 rsv. while out for a ride today with old goat we got out on the highway he got out and went like hell. must say his bike is running better thanks to all of you pepoles help. well i started hitting gears real fast and thought i had one more gear pulled in the clutch and noticed i was in top gear let off and just kept on the gas. no problem then.

but when we went into town and i was in 2nd gear oldgoat said he thought he heard a chirp or whine comming from somewhere ? in top gear he said at 60 mph it wasent so bad? did i mess up the clutch?

I ve done that more than once with the wifes shadow. May be a problem but doubt it was from the attempt to find another gear when you are already in the top gear.

thank you all we just went for a short but fast ride. to check it out. no noise thank god. found out the noise was oldgoat hearing things in the intercom set up we bought for bike to bike. he,s getting to much background noise when bikes are to close side by side?

thas no big problem bought that system at a yard sale for 23 bucks so if thats all he,s hearing. i can live with a loss of $23 LOL
