thecount Posted July 27, 2010 #1 Posted July 27, 2010 Looking for a bracket mount for a Garmin 665 XM satellite antenna. Similar to this. http://www.gpscity.ca/g/gps/l/4/ram344.jpg Any other options than RAM? Anyone have one to move along to a new home? Thanks
BigBoyinMS Posted July 27, 2010 #2 Posted July 27, 2010 That looks like it would be pretty easy to make. But no, not sure where you would find one.
Freebird Posted July 27, 2010 #3 Posted July 27, 2010 That's the same one that I use. It works very well.
Freebird Posted July 27, 2010 #5 Posted July 27, 2010 I can answer that as soon as I get home this weekend. I had to leave right after my 665 arrived on Monday so haven't installed the motorcycle bracket yet. It is supposed to work though.
JerryT Posted July 28, 2010 #6 Posted July 28, 2010 I am looking at that one also. At first thought I would be smart and mounted mine inside the fairing on the front. Worked great and completly out of sight. Only problem, I found out the xm radio id is in the antenna which meant when I went to put the gps in the car, I needed the same ant. to use the xm radio. So much for trying to make things easy.
