royalstarjac Posted October 27, 2007 #1 Posted October 27, 2007 Anyone have any knowledge of this sychronizer? Ever used it or know someone who has? What do you carb synch gurus out there think about it?-Jack http://www.aerostich.com/catalog/US/TwinMax-Synchronizer-p-16947.html
Beau-Kat Posted October 27, 2007 #2 Posted October 27, 2007 I own a TwinMax and have used it on my RSVMMLTD and some of my other bikes. Seems to work o.k. I would like to also use a set of mercury sticks for comparison, but haven't bought any yet.
Orrin Posted October 27, 2007 #3 Posted October 27, 2007 Jack, I have a Morgan Carbtune Pro that I like and seam to do a good job. The only comment I have is that you would have to hook and unhook with only 2 inputs in to the synchronizer. For example: sync 1-2 then 3-4 and then sync 1,2-3,4 so thre steps in stead on one. I know from my Morgan that I like to see all 4 carbs at once and you won't be able to do that with this. Hope this helps. Maybe you can review it for us.
Beau-Kat Posted October 27, 2007 #4 Posted October 27, 2007 I agree with Orrin on the TwinMax synch procedure. It takes a few steps and you can only compare two at a time. It would be nice to see all 4 synchs at once. I'll have to get the Carb Tune.
