dray Posted October 27, 2007 #1 Posted October 27, 2007 I can see Charlie on this one for sure:stirthepot: http://www.metricthunder.com/news/2007/10/24/yamahas-next-cruiser/
juggler Posted October 27, 2007 #2 Posted October 27, 2007 The heck with Charlie, I can see me on one of those. That thing looks like fun!
Squidley Posted October 27, 2007 #4 Posted October 27, 2007 No thank you...that thing is uglier than sin!
Thom Posted October 27, 2007 #5 Posted October 27, 2007 that looks like fun , is that a V Max motor ?
pegscraper Posted October 27, 2007 #6 Posted October 27, 2007 My vote is for fugly. And it ain't a V Max engine. Read the description. It's a hybrid with a V twin and an electric motor. Batteries - no, everyone is not doing it. Thanks but no thanks.
Condor Posted October 27, 2007 #7 Posted October 27, 2007 I can see the sport bike set liking it maybe, but even if it does lean you're not going to scrape any pegs with it.....
Gray Ghost Posted October 29, 2007 #8 Posted October 29, 2007 Even if it wasn't fugly, it's got two to many wheels.
hipshot Posted October 29, 2007 #9 Posted October 29, 2007 lynn. that THING, might be fun to ride, around town, but it looks like "death eatin' a cracker"! it don't do anything for me. as others have said though, the "street warriors", will probably fall head over heels , in love with it. just jt
pegscraper Posted October 29, 2007 #10 Posted October 29, 2007 Ya think so? I don't know. I wouldn't be surprised if even the sportbike crowd didn't go for that. Too much weight for one thing. Not "flickable". And too much unspsrung weight. This is one of those experimental gotta try it just to see what happens kind of things.
hig4s Posted October 29, 2007 #12 Posted October 29, 2007 Looks like a transformer. With a more sedate style I could see idea as an alternative to going trike when you can no longer hold a bike up.
Yammer Dan Posted October 29, 2007 #13 Posted October 29, 2007 Wouldn't have any trouble walking away from that one without looking back....
High Plains Drifter Posted October 29, 2007 #14 Posted October 29, 2007 Looks like the new Victory with two more wheels! UGH-LEE!!!!
Eck Posted October 29, 2007 #15 Posted October 29, 2007 I think Ild rather have this one... A little more chrome and I can almost see Eddie on it... http://www.metricthunder.com/news/2007/10/24/the-toyko-connection-no-sushi-here/
High Plains Drifter Posted October 30, 2007 #16 Posted October 30, 2007 I think Ild rather have this one... A little more chrome and I can almost see Eddie on it... UGH-LEE-URR!!!!
E-Fishin-C Posted October 30, 2007 #17 Posted October 30, 2007 Dray.... you know me so well ........I love it And Squidley.... it looks better than a 2nd Gen
dray Posted October 30, 2007 Author #18 Posted October 30, 2007 Dray.... you know me so well ........I love it And Squidley.... it looks better than a 2nd Gen Charlie the only thing is I'm not sure if its going to come in pink but that may be a Canadian option! LOL all kidding aside i see a lot of you think its ugly but I think this would be a great product for some folks that have handicaps and can still get around but cant quite handle a 2 Wheeler and they don't need a big bike for around town with a sidecar or a 20,000 dollar bike with a 15,000 dollar trike kit and as gas prices soar with a small trailer it would be a great little grocery getter
Rocket Posted October 30, 2007 #19 Posted October 30, 2007 all kidding aside i see a lot of you think its ugly but I think this would be a great product for some folks that have handicaps and can still get around but cant quite handle a 2 Wheeler and they don't need a big bike for around town with a sidecar or a 20,000 dollar bike with a 15,000 dollar trike kit and as gas prices soar with a small trailer it would be a great little grocery getter I was thinking more along the lines as a winter scoot, will need studded tires on it.......
yamahamer Posted October 30, 2007 #20 Posted October 30, 2007 THATS NOT A BIKE.....THATS NOT A TRIKE......NOT EVEN SOMETHING I MIGHT LIKE......NOT TODAY.........NOT TONIGHT........NO THATS NOT MY BIKE!!!!!!!!!!!:rotf::rotf:
Freebird Posted October 30, 2007 #21 Posted October 30, 2007 Naw...here is Charlie's new bike. The Yamaha Bobby. http://autoshow.autos.msn.com/autoshow/Tokyo2007/photogallery.aspx?cp-documentid=5631781
loehring Posted October 30, 2007 #22 Posted October 30, 2007 This is the only "non-traditional" bike that has caught my eye. A great winter or severe weather ride. Looks like fun too. http://www.flytheroad.com/
