I am currently using NGK, but when I need to change plugs I will probably go to Champion or some other brand as I'm finding NGK's are giving lots of problems in snowmobiles. NGK are not anywhere near as good as they once were. Unfortunately I have several NGK snowmobile plugs in stock I may have trouble selling.

Just changed yesterday from the NGK Iridium to standard plugs. Have switched back and forth between the two with no noticeable difference in performance.

What a pain changing them in the RSV. I just changed mine out and it took 2 hours. Of course, I took my time. Still, removing the tank, the dogbones, and getting in those tight places with HE-MAN tools aint easy. Ever try grabbing and turning a delicate little sparkplug with channel-locks and a pipewrench? (I'm just kidding on that last part, folks)

Its a five minute job on my Harley, including rounding up a tool, and having a few sips of beer.

Thing is, the manual calls for changing them at 8,000 mile intervals...Well my Venture has almost 22,000 on it and the old Denso plugs looked fine.

Assuming these new NGKs hold up as well as the Denso OEM plugs, I should be good for a while.

BTW...18 mm sparkplug sockets are hard to find in my township..if its a standard sparkplug SAE size socket, I didnt have it. And the included Yammie pot-metal sparkplug socket is 'iffy' at best. I had to make a run to a tool place to get the socket and an 8mm hex driver for the dogbone socket bolts...Seems I just didn't have one of those things layin around here. But no worries mates, I like to ride!

Anyway...got-r-dun.
