uechi kid Posted July 19, 2010 #1 Posted July 19, 2010 I'm looking for a compact but comprehensive first aid kit for the Venture. I have one that's just to large 12"X 10"X 3". When my wife and I travel together that kit take up to much room. So what does everyone else have?

csogbk Posted July 19, 2010 #4 Posted July 19, 2010 Here is a link to a great, well priced emergency kit that is light and takes up very little space. As a former Army SOF Medic, I carry one in my police car and one in my bike's trunk. I also recomend you take CPR and First Aid or First Responder courses, if for no other reason to be better able to handle an emergency at home! Owen Posted July 19, 2010 #5 Posted July 19, 2010 From the web site: INDICATIONS: The Tac-Pack® is intended for the emergency treatment of open or bleeding wounds, gunshot wounds, stab wounds, explosive trauma, and certain smoke & dust conditions. Sounds like it should be standard issue for a 1st Gen... I'm just sayin'... Here is a link to a great, well priced emergency kit that is light and takes up very little space. straycatt Posted July 20, 2010 #7 Posted July 20, 2010 So what does everyone else have? I carry four bandaids and a roll of duct tape.
Monty Posted July 20, 2010 #8 Posted July 20, 2010 I am a former EMS First Responder. I just downsized my jump bag into one of those little soft-sided coolers, and carry it in my saddlebag. When I pull the trailer, I carry the bigger stuff, like ambu bag, splints, c-collars, etc... Fish AKA Bikedropper actually had to use my kit at the International Rally, to help a little girl that had wrecked her bicycle, and cut her toe.
