I'm looking for ideas how to hold down a cooler on my Piggy Trailer. I had a cover made for it and it will have a zipper around the top so I can have access. I don't want to put straps on the outside of the cover or a net.....but that maybe the most logical idea? Will I be taking it off and on the rack....prob not.

So people what ideas have ya got ?????

Thanks

It appears that the cooler has side handles. You could put the straps under the cover from the handles to the frame.

This assumes that the cover fits well enough to not blow off on the road.

Will the black cover help to keep the cooler warm on a sunny day?

The straps hanging down near the front are there to go under the bottom to hold cover the down. Black....well in this part of the world heat is not a big issue really.

Keep the ideas coming.......

Thanks

Have a loop sewn onto that cover, with snaps that snap onto that top rail. Have it go around the front and sides.

A loop is the only possible choice I see maybe 2 on the front and 2 on the rear and a bungie strap of some kind on the bottom...Monty idea is neater though, mine is the fast redneck way

2" Velcro strap from the back to the front of the frame. That way you can get to the cooler quickly without having to unhook everything....

I use 4 straps, 2 each side, 1 to the front of the rack, one to the back through the handels of my Colman cooler.

It hasn't moved in years of use and easy access to the drinks and snacks.

I dont have the rail around like yours does so a single strap on each side should be enough.
