I just installed floorboard extensions on my roadstar and now the rear brake line is too short. Any thoughts on where to find one made to order. I checked with the local shops so I'll have to order it.

How resonable was he????

How much oversize did you go?

These hoses are shorter than the originals. Remember; the originals ran from the left caliper to a fitting above the steering head, and the other hose ran from the right caliper all the way to the front brake handle.

I connected one of the old hoses to the brake caliper, routed it to the splitter and marked it with a piece of tape. I then took it off, measured it and added a couple of inches (to be safe). They ended up a little too long.

Two hoses were about $88 with local tax included.

I got mine from an ebay seller located in Canada.

He has a listing up now, he will do a 4 line set for about $85.00 including shipping.

You have to know what you want in the way of lengths and end fittings. No one line over 71".

He also has single, double & triple sets on sale.

Ebay seller is linespro

4 line set listing # is 270597840446

I was happy with the quality of the set I got from him.

My friend was a hydraulics troop in the Air Force and he said the same thing. I plan on letting him assemble the hose from the Front master cylinder to the splitter.

I have already used thier stuff, came out fine for me and the assembly time was very short.

Thanks for the info. I know nothing about choosing the fittings and so forth so I'll probably defer to an expert on assembly. Not an area that I want any surprises with.
